Big thing here is we are wrenching the data out of the Weather asset system. It took a long time for a C# newbie like me. Don't trust chat gpt. I'll say it again, don't trust chat gpt.
Anyway, the player now has access to the weather forecasts, letting them touch a living, breathing world. In this video I hit the hotkey to display just the next weather forecast, and see when it will happen. A lot can be done with this.
The time and weather can now be a fully integrated part of the game, interacting with skills, events, choices, prayers and more. Up to 10 forecasts are accessible in advance now with this prognostication tool.
Also, movement has been professionalized, and Y rotation has been clamped to +/- 75 degrees. You can still overshoot it if you have way too fast of a mouse, but that's you.
Raycast length for player interaction with world objects has been increased, you don't need to be eating a door to open it now.
Terrain tools have been practiced, and we see that going into the smooth, hilly distant forest. More world building should come soon as a result of this work.
